Mafia: Definitive Edition, a complete remake of the original game, came out in 2021 for PS4, Xbox One, and PC. Gameplay-wise, Mafia might be long in the tooth and clunky, but trying it out can’t hurt when there’s no cost of entry. While not as popular as other crime-ridden titles like Grand Theft Auto, Mafia is unique in that it draws far more inspiration from classic 1930s gangster films like The Godfather.
